Angry 35k miles and problems starting

Can't find much info and don't know if it's common, but my V10 is knocking bad upon cold start. It is also dying occasionally on cold start. It tries to start then dies. I imagine they are unrelated. No error codes reported. Scheduled back to dealer mon. Also, if anyone has any advice on those squeaking front springs, I would appreciate. They are driving me crazy. Thanks.

Thumbs down

My truck has less than 10000 miles and is hard to start when cold. It is going in Monday for the recall for the gas tank, the tranny is leaking, second trip, and failure to start when cold. I'm a huge Ford fan, but this thing is not making me happy at all.

There is no fix at this point for the squeaking front springs. Mine has made noise for 13 months so far. I had the original TSB performed last fall, which was supposed to fix the problem. It did, for 2 days!! The dealer told me that Ford is working on yet another fix for this problem.
Originanally, they were expecting it around the 1st of the year, but no luck yet.

The best temporary fix is to keep the spring tip isolators lubricated. I tried a number of different products, like, WD40 etc. I found one that I can usually get 2 weeks out of before they start squeaking again. It is called TAL5 and is made by WD40. Any other ones would only last 2 days.

Getting my truck back today. I'm sure it will be a joke. They are replacing bushings on springs, may or may not help, and replacing the belt. I guess that's supposed to fix the engine noise. I may have been born at night, but not last night. There were no sounds coming from my engine compartment related to anything RUBBER! So far though, it has to be around 45 degrees before the engine knocks. Guess my first Ford is going to be a nightmare. Still beats my 98 Dodge though!
