Super Duty Lift!
Anyone have any experience with Trailmasters 3" lift. And if so do you think 35's on a 16.5 x 9.75 rim will clear everything just fine. Any input will be helpful...thanks

Yes Yetiman...35's will fit fine. I have been getting info for the past month about this. I will be ordering a Shyjacker lift. The best and cheapest. THey are very friendly and helpful. Go look at there site. http://www.jackit.com/ and give them a call.
35inch BFG's will fit. 35inch Swampers will require some trimming at the bottom of the front airdam or moving the bumper out a little bit.
Don't ask me why. My 4inch lift easily fit the BFG's 35x12.50 16.50(no rubbing) but the swamper 35x12.50 16.50's rub the airdam while turning. Not a very nice sound with the big lugs on the sides of the swampers. :-)

What brand is your lift? I see that superlift has a two inch lift I wonder if that would be enough. I don't want to lift it real high or alter the ride very much. I just want it to sit level and have enough room for the 35's and not rub.
Next question do you think 35's and the 4.30 rear end will be okay or will a new rear end gear be better to keep it close to a factory ratio...boy this gets to complicated hehe.

I have a Superlift 4inch kit.
I do not have any experience with the "Superlift" 2 inch leveling kit although I can not imagine it being much different from the Rancho 2inch leveling kit with which I HAVE seen at the shows over the summer.
Your ability to get a 35incher under the front fenders (rear you would not have a problem) may depend on whether or not you have Power stroke. The huge amount of weight that the power stroke adds to the front end might sag it too much to fit a 35. I have seen at least 3 show trucks with v8 and v10's sporting BFG AT 35x12.50's with the Rancho leveling kit. I even have a picture of two of them (unscanned). In my opinion, I would have to say that you should not have any clearance problems with the Superlift leveling kit and 35 BFG's. Just do not try to fit a 35inch swamper. :-) Worst case, if the tires rub the bottom of your front air dam a little, SUperlift also sells a bumper spacer kit that sets the front bumper forward 1 inch. You can barely notice the change and the kit is cheap. (I made my own 1/2 inch bumper kit with big washers and it only cost me $2.39 :-) Previous experience: 35's and 4.30's are fine. Never had trouble with that combo on previous trucks. Kinda wishing I had the 4.30's for my current 35's. That type of big money is going to go to other toys for my truck though. :-)
Hope that helps. --Chris
