V10/4.30 or 3.73/which is faster?
Yeah, I know this is a silly question, but I'll ask it any way. If equally equipped, which v10 would be quicker off the line to 60 mph?
I know that the lower gearing in the 4.3 should be the quickest, but I'm not sure. At some point, assuming an auto, the tranny will shift and the momentum will hesitate. Therefore, if the 4.3 requires an upshift, it may be a little slower if the 3.73 can go without shifting.
