any one had problems with the 7.3 power stroke engine? My dad has a f-350, 4x4 2001 extanded cab short box that is in mint condition, he is tried and true Ford, owned this truck since new.

Miles are realy low, truck only get's uesd 4 month's of the year towing a 5th wheal.

He will soon be perchasing a 2004 f-350 and has offerd me a deal on his old truck which I accepted.

My payment's to him, will go to his new truck.

To bad I just bought a 2003 Ram 2500 with the Hemi ( Its is an excellant truck, Previouly had a junky 2002 f-150 ) I will break even on the dodge when I sell it and have cash aside once my deal is complete.

Aside from higher mainteance cost's, what dose a novice need to know abought the power stroke engine? At what R.p.m. will the turbo kick in?

I have never owen a D. engine before, and have recoverd from my f-150 expierances, so Ford is back in my garage
