Trailer tow mirrors

New owner. How are the mirrors adjusted in and out? I thought they were electric, but I don't think so. I tried just gripping one and seeing if I could get it to move in or out, but it didn't budge. I didn't apply a lot of pressure -- didn't want to break anything. Maybe I need to apply a bit more elbow grease? Any pointers? Thanks.

Just grab it and yank. Seriously, the first few times I felt like I had to put more pressure on them than I thought would be necessary, but they just pull straight out away from the truck. Welcome to the wonderful world of SuperDuty ownership - enjoy your stay!

Hey thanks. At least I don't need to practice.

Get good footing before you do it. You may loose balance and it'll feel like you're going to yank them off the truck. LOL
