what color

I'm having a real tough time deciding which color I want to go with my 04 fx4 Lariat crew LB PSD. Alright, I like the Dark green satin metallic but my Black lab duck dog would look just too cool really sitting in the front seat if I ordered Black.

If you are going to be in the field where you will be getting muddy, and going through brush where you can get scratches, get either white or silver. Dark colors - you are alway washing your truck...unless you just don't care what it looks like, just my .02.

I'd have to agree with the above post. I just bought mine in White/Arizona Beige. You don't see the scratches and blemishes as bad and they don't quite seem to look as dirty all the time. But.....if you like to wash and clean a truck, its hard to beat the looks of a nicely waxed black one. Just not worth all of the trouble to me. I've gotten away from dark colors in vehicles. My wife just bought a new Honda Accord EXL in a dark red, almost maroon, color and it drives me crazy. Seems like its always dirty. GS

I've got 2-tone Blue over Silver. I was looking for white and Silver but couldn't find it at the time. I wish I had keep looking. The blue looks great when it is clean, but every little, tiny scratch shows up. My wife has a silver Honda Paspport - it always looks great. It's really your call.
yeah right now my harvest gold clearcoat shows scratches pretty good. Black is just plain black, no metallic, which I don't understand why they couldn't make one. Maybe it wouldn't be true black according to them I guess.
I don't mind the arizona beige metallic. The dark Toreador and medium wedgewood blue would look ok. Heck, they all look ok but I still like the black but just for the dog. Geeze, I guess I have a personal problem.....:o My book on washing is even though white shows up cleaner, the truck is still dirty and I generally like to wash once a week. Dirt it dirt and no matter what, the paint is still being attacked.
I plan to stay away from the brush and such when I can help it. Maybe I'll carry some pruning shears if I end up in a situation. I think I need to pay more attention to my wallet than what color right now as hard pressed as I am to get into this rig.
Going to AK with about 100k after I pay my f150 off and some other bills and another 34k for the new truck if I pay cash, which I plan to, and that leaves me with 60k to look for a decent place with property or I rent until I find something. 60k is not much when considering a down payment which leaves me with maybe 25 to 35k in the bank for survival money.
I will have my monthly social security check of $550.00 so at least that will help pay keep the roof over our heads. Will also be needing to get to work up there even if it is just seasona.
Buying the truck could be a big mistake should the worse happen say after a year or so. Better live off fish and meat!

yo pickup man, I do like that. Great match. I didn't mention two tone colors but I may go with it. Always had solid colors. I'm 46, so maybe it's time. Thanks for the pic...I'll let ya know what I decide on if I get stupid and buy the lariat crew. If I end up getting close to being broke, I can always buy a camper at the last 2nd and live in it should I end up being close to pushing a shopping cart!
Can't let the dog down either. She's depending on me

I'd go with Oxford White, Bright Red or Silver. Metallic colors do show every scratch and imperfection, black magnifies every scratch and imperfection. In Texas summers, the lighter colors do much better, hence another reason I like light colors.
A black lab looks cool no matter what color truck he's sitting in, though the lighter colors will tend to show more contrast with that black K9, making him stand out even more.

One more comment OOfirstford on your Alaska move. You can ALWAYS move back if things don't work out up there. I think the bigger mistake would be going to your grave wishing your had taken that step into what could be the biggest and greatest adventure of your life. Roll the dice and best of luck my friend!
