04 F250 5.4 chip & cat-back?

Hi all, I need a little advice on what chip and what cat-back systems I should use on my truck.
I have a 04 F250 with a 5.4L , 6 speed tranny and 4.10 LS. I have aready installed a K&N filter. It seemed to help a little on the gas mileage but nothing else. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Mike

Oh, you're welcome.

If you're after good gas mileage-get rid of the 4.10 axle ratio.

You're getting all bent out of shape cause someone didn't answer your question in 10hrs. Give me a break After that response it wouldn't suprise me if you don't get many other answers. Good grief

It was actually 10 days and 10 hours.

You'll probably get more response in the Engine forum, or one of the aftermarket forums like Exhasut and/or Computer Chips.

I'd have to say, if you're loking to improve MPG, don't expect much improvement, and certainly not at a cost that is cost effective. Chip and Exhaust may help a little, but you've got a heavy truck with tall gears and that 5.4 is going to burn a little fuel moving it around.

What MPG are you getting now?
