Unhappy 6.0 problems here we go

Well with 1200 miles on my new 6.0 the truck intermitttently looses power, the air conditioner works when it wants to and the check engine light just came on this morning.. Cant wait to see what comes of this. i would be furious but I really love the truck so im going to deal with it and hope the dealer can fix the truck. I guess we'll see what happens.

Hi L

Take alook again www.thedieselstop.com at the reflash posts, R15 etc. May/may not work for you? Read carefully the pros/cons...some good/some bad. Unfortunately still no 100% fix. for all.

Some a/c's not cooling properly have additional fluid added etc. and work fine.

Only one FMC dealer here, so i've learned to choose my words carefully. If lots of dealers, thats different.

Good luck...OT

6.0 power joke

My dad just traded his 2000 crew cab 7.3 for the new lariat crew cab 6.0 and its been an up hill battle. been back to the dealership 4 times in 3000 miles and pretty much the same thing it just like loses power while your rollin and then it cathes its self up and horriblke idle even when its hot you think is gonna die. Super clean truck but the ford place has it more then us so....! but i will let him know about the vehicle throw the front door, i am sure it could be arranged

Sorry unfortunatly I did not have to make a new door in the showroom for them. I have had the truck back at the dealer 2 times and all but a few problems have been cured. Normally I would be extremely irate and irrational when it comes to a new anything with this kinds of problems , however I have grown to love this truck and am willing to put up with a few little problems. Hopefully no more problems will come up. But we will see what happens. ...Kyle
