power window switch bad?

Runnert, believe this, I had a customer in last week, that has a 2000, guess what his windows don't work right and it is temperature dependent...Sound familiar???

I don't think I had that problem. It just seemed to get worse and worse. I first noticed the problem way back in early fall 2002 and very rarely did it. Then in March 2003 it really started to get worse. Then probably by April/May, I just had to wait until the system would overide the fuse and make the windows work. Apparently there must be some safety overide. If you take th fuse out and turn the key on, eventually the system would allow for the windows to work. But because the fuse was working intermitent for me, the system overide never kicked in until I was getting absolutely no fuse contact. Does this sound like a possibility?

Runnert, it just sounded like you described the same as what this guy is seeing, So i am probably going to work on this one and see whats up...I was thinking of you when this guy said he had an intermittant problem with the window operation...I will keep you in touch..
