Does anyone know a place online or anyone who might be selling a f350 Tailgate. A friend of mine who is in construction had is basically ripped off his truck, and isnt usable anymore. Sad thing is he has only had the truck about 6 months or so. Anyone have any ideas besides the dealership where i can get one?

Check the local junkyards... always a fine place to find cheaper parts.

Only draw back there is that it might have to be painted to match...

I believe the tailgate is the same on the 150/250/350...The book will tell if them interchange...

They are easy to find, even in the colors...

 

Try the RV sites.
Many F350s doing the fifth wheel thing.
Many of those have added a special taigate(one with a notch)
There are probably many of those owners with a factory tailgate sitting in their garage.

(Drawback is the lock!)

 

nope, the Superduty tailgate is different. Im sure the 250 and 350 are the same in the superduties though.
