I have to overhaul my engine and i believe i have everything disconnected but I can't get the engine to detach from the tranny. I have a decent hoist an a engine leveler. I am trying to yank up on the front of the engine first and then the back. I have the chains attached to four bolt screws where the intake was located. The engine and the tranny will come up an inch or two from the motor mounts. Is there any trick to snapping the two apart or is just easier to pull them out together. Is there anybody that can give me some helpfull hints or there best guess?
