Swap Nav buckets/console w Expy bench

I'm interested in swapping the 2nd row buckets and console from my 98 Navigator with a bench from and Expedition.

Anyone done this? Are seat anchor points common between them?

I have parchment interior

Any Expy guys wanna trade seats?

I remember seeing this posted quit some time ago and if I remember correctly the mounting holes are not the same. I think you could drill some new holes and make it work though. You would have to use some sealant to cover up the existing holes that aren't used. You might want to go to a dealer or if you have a friend with an Expi and do some measuring on an Expi and see if the mounting holes are the same.

I was fortunate to find my Navigator with the middle bench seat. Although the concept of twin buckets in the Navi/Expi is kind of neat, I never saw the practicality of having a vehicle the size of a Navigator and only being able to take 3 other people without using the back seat. I know their use to be a company that made a center console for the Navigator that also converted into a middle seat to haul an extra passenger.

Good luck. You might try doing a search and see if you can find some of the old posts on this subject.
