Door Lock Bypass??

Is there a way to make the rear doors unlock when shutting off the engine in my Expedition?
I find it annoying when the rear passengers say, “I can’t get out”. I was reading in the HD section about bypassing the locks from locking the doors when you put the truck into gear. Any advise?

I'm not sure how to do it, but I know it can be done. My aftermarket alarm system has the door lock feature that automatically locks the doors when put in gear and unlocks ALL doors when shut off. Check with an alarm installer. They can probably hook up some sort of relay that will activate all door locks.

I found the info in the owner’s manual under auto lock feature. It can be de-activated with the keyless entry pad or with the ignition key & additional steps.
