Expedition: Anyone know how to get their window washer sprayer unclogged?

Expedition: Anyone know how to get their window washer sprayer unclogged?

i know this is a very general question, but i figured i'd le the Team try to help me out on this. It's a 97 expo and there very clogged up, i done tried sticking a neddle in the sprayer on the hood with no luck. thanks!

do you know what's in it? likily dried wax. open the hood, disconnect the tubes and shoot some compressed air through it (if you don't have access to a compressor you can by a can of 'canned air' from a computer store) and give it a blast

List price of a nozzle is $7. Keep it in mind.

Depending on where you live it very well could be calcium deposits from hard water. Put some vinegar on the nozzle and let it set, then rinse it off, it will disolve the deposits. I have done it before and it works well. I also dilute it 50/50 with water to get hardwater spots off my boat. Works like a champ.

disconnected the tube and blew air through it from a high pressure nozel on my compressor...

Are you sure its clogged. There was some sort of recall on the switch.

alot of the times its at the punp. there is a rubber screen. and all of the goo settles at the bottom of the tank. remove pump they just pop out. remove screen its also the seal for the pump. clean reinstall. good luck
