Question Towing with 22" wheels on the Expo?

Anyone here on the fourm tow a trailer with 22" rims? Currently i tow a small little trailer (1000 lbs total). But the dirtbike bug bit me really bad and plan on getting me a 22 foot toy box (Weekend Warrior). The weight of the trailer is about 6,500 lbs and im running 305/40/22 Pirelli's on 22" rims, would this be a problem?

you souldnt have any problem the aftermarket wheels are just as
strong as factory just dont hit any pot holes with that much weight on it :

F-150 2NV is correct, the rims are more than strong enough, and do watch out for those pot holes. As far as the tires go, check the load rating on them. Some high performance tires just aren't rated for heavy loads...

The load rating on the Pirelli's is adequate, as I believe they are around 2600 lbs. The biggest problem I can see you running into is the lack of sidewall. A 40 series tire is pretty low profle to be going into dirt bike territory. If the roads are paved you should be ok, but if you get into some roads that may have rocks or other obstacles, you could very easily puncture a tire as their just isn't adequate sidewall to make much abuse. Good luck.

thanks everyone for there input. i'll call around to my tire/ rims manufacture and see what they have to say, i'll keep everyone updated.

i don't know about everyone else that rolls 20+ inch rims but im crawlin' over train track, aviodin all ditches (actually i got that from a song, lol). i take to care as not to bend my chrome rims that costed a small fortune. the areas where i go dirtbike ridin' are not to bad cuz i only trailer them in over smooth surfaces.
