Hood material??

Hood material??
What is the hood made from? Mine is not metal.
I am having a problem with my paint and it appear to be under the clearcoat. I have a 2001 Expy.

Well, my hood isn't aluminum, it's made out of a composite material, same as the bed of the flareside F150 & Lightning pick ups, same as the bed on the Explorer Sport Trac.
