Your Expi is looking excellent. I agree with the mirrors. That's a pretty cheap option also as they just pop in and out and you can get the painted ones for a little over $20.00 a piece brand new. It would definitley give it a cleaner look. Somebody on here might be willing to trade you the chrome ones for some black ones. Keep up the good work.

Thumbs up Looks GOOD!

The newer front end looks great! I always wanted to put a Lightning front end on my Expedition. Maybe if I ever get some extra money!

The Diamond headlight were around $150 on E-bay, or $199 from Procarparts.com, either way they are cheaper than the reflector headlights($349), and in my opinion they look alot better. They emit a nice clear/ blueish light when coupled with the correct bulbs.

As far as the Chrome is conerned I'm happy with it, but at the same time I would'nt mind having it ALL black, it's a matter of prefrence I suppose. Does anyone have a set of black mirror covers they are willing to trade???

Completely!

I did it in my backyard on a Saturday, with simple hand tools. Screw drivers, ratchets and a few bumps on my knuckles everything turned out great!

And the nice reward is that you did it yourself. I did a complete custom stereo installation in my Navigator and it was very rewarding when it was all done (also very rewarding with the amount of money that I saved also). Keep up the good work and keep us posted as you do any other mods.
