Hey all quick question, I had a problem a while back with my 4 wheel drive. In the winter when I would turn the switch to 4h it would jump from auto to 4 h. I remember a few others had this problem. I think my dealership flushed my transfer case? Anyway, it is back but now the outside temp does not matter.
Thoughts?

I dont know if this will help, But on my Blazer it was doing that same exact thing and I had to replace the switch it was shorting out!

 

I thought this was a pretty comon problem for 97-98s. I was wrong?

 

Yes, the '98 I'm looking at is jumping, and my 2001 would lock in 2low and not come out unless the switch was moved-and it would disengage with a clang!! while I was moving. Pretty nasty
