Shock recommendations

I just picked up a 99 eddie bauer 4x2 and want to stiffen up the ride a bit, however nothing too harsh - since this car isn't gonna be run on the track haha.

Anyhow, what do you all recommend.

Thumbs up Bilstein

Put 4 on my 99EB with rear load leveling. Where they helped out was by eliminating the secondary suspension "bounce". A little firmer too.

I've tried Edlebrock IAS and Bilstein. Both great shocks, you won't be sorry w' either. The Edlebrock is a little softer slightly smoother ride, but still a MAJOR improvement over stock. I stuck w' the Bilstein for the extra firmness in turns.

I have Trailmaster Invader SS shocks and really like them. Nice combination of street and off-road driveability. I've also used Bilstein in the past. Truly a great shock for the money. Buy Rancho if you like giving your chiropractor money. I had these on a Jeep XJ, and a Dodge PU. I learned my lesson after 2 vehicles. They are way TOO stiff for a daily ride. This is MY opinion and I'm sticking to it.
