Man, if I had know that Satin Finish with Chrome lip would look that good, I would have taken that option myself.
Those 22's are sweet. Best looking 4x4 Expy I've seen to date!

Hey,
Is your Expy obnoxiously loud with the Flowmaster set up? I've owned two F-150's with Single in, dual outlet mufflers that were louder than the flowmasters I've heard from folks with true duals and two flowmaster mufflers.
I want my truck to sound better, but I don't want it drowning out the conversation or the radio in my truck- How's it been for you? ANy second thoughts about it?
Been thinking about Borla & Gibson....

No, not at all. Two of my friends each bought dual exhaust for their trucks (Dodge 1500 and Ford F150). They both got pipes out the back and both of them are very loud - too loud for me. I just have the one 3” pipe out the side. It really makes a difference. Gives it a nice rumble without being annoying. Sound so much better than my next door neighbors Expedition. I only paid $150.00 for the muffler, pipe and complete install. I couldn’t pass that up.
Before this happened, I had been looking at the Gibson.

First of all...
All those Expy's ( but especially the one with 22's
) Are So Sick. Those rims look bAD AZZ! and Those Toyo's are Perfect. I can't wait to get Rims so mine can look like that. I want 22's but will probably get 20's because I add 200 Miles a Week.
I was originally going to get an X, but for the same price I was offered a Navigator, and because they are so similar i couldn't pass up the deal... But Man,, your expeditions are looking nice.. Keep it up!!!!!!
2nd, I have Flowmaster, one side 3 " pipe exit and it isn't tremendously loud, and Sounds GREAT. If the radio is up, it is hard to even here the exhuast, although sometime you FEEL it at OT as it shakes the steering wheel a bit..... But like you, I ddin't want exhuast that was too loud. My friend just got NEW exhuast on his F150 and he didn't put on a Muffler... Just pipes straight Back.. OMG!!!!!!!! Now that is TOO loud... Anyways, I believe that Flowmaster only uses METAL plates inside it's muffler so it sounds like Air rushing through with a little rumble. I love it and compared to any other exhuast, highly suggest it!
Well the X's are looking Sweet. Like i said, keep it up.
