I was thinking of purchasing a 03 expy as well. Here in Baton Rouge the dealers are offering 8000 of msrp on all expy's on the lot. I have a question though, I've read that the 03's will come with IRS Independent rear suspension. Is this true, and if so how good is this? Will this be junk or what? Any opinions or info on the 03's will surely be appreciated.

Go to www.fordvehicles.com and you can see that there are going to be several changes for 03. I like the suspension changes, the air conditioned seats, the fold flat seats, and better steering. I just wish they would give it more hp.

 

I'm leasing my '03. The rate is at 6.4%. I will also get a $1000 rebate from Ford Credit red carpet lease. I asked on the interest rates for puchasing and I was told 6.9%.

Next year, the 04's will have a three valve 5.4 developing 310 or 315 HP.

 

I think the 3 valve 5.4L will be coming out this fall as a 2003 model mid year change. I know I've read in other forums that this is the case, but I've seen Ford change things constantly, so who knows.

I do know for a fact that the 4.5L diesel program has been scraped until 2007.
