Exclamation Truck stalling-Please help!

I have posted previously about this problem but now its getting worse. My 99 4.6 EB has a intermittent off idle stumble. Its more like it shuts off for about a sec then takes off. Well, yesterday I was going out to eat with the wife and kids. We were at a light waiting to make a left turn. When the light turned green I pressed on the gas and BAM, the truck shut off. It completly died in the middle of the intersection. I had to put it in neutral the crankit over for about 15 sec's for it to start. After that it hasn't done that since. I did notice it does this mostly when I am taking a left turn from a stop. Occasionaly it will do it in a straight line but never when I am turning right. I have done alot of maintenance like plugs, tranny service, air filter, fuel filter, cleaned t-body, cleaned IAC valve, new pcv valve. If you have any suggestions please reply. I really don't want to have to take it to the dealer to have them tell me they "can not duplicate".

Thanks!
Luke

How many miles do you have on the truck? Maybe your throttle body needs cleaning. I was at 65000 miles when it happened. Mine did the exact same thing as yours. Luckly a guy from autozone owns a f150 and I told him my problem and he said it was my throttle body that was getting clogged. I ended up cleaning it and never had a problem.

Unhappy

Mine did it for a while but never stalled. Coming off a full stop it would hesitate for a split second then take off. It quit doing it after a while and never did it again. Don't forget to let us know the cause of your problem so if it ever happens again to me I can have some idea where to look.

Thanks

I allready cleaned the t-body. The truck has 55k on it. I am wondering if it might be water in the fuel system. Does anyone know how to flush the system? I did a new fuel filter but if there is water in the fuel rails that could be a problem.

Thanks!
