Talking Please help More performance desired!

Hi!

I own a 98 Expedition 2WD w/5.4. The modes to date include only a K&N and dual exhaust, (a fake dual that is) with one muffler and two outlets.

I just don't have off-the-line get up and go that I want. Infact, Jeep cherokees with a V8 can outrun the Expy. I know I am at a weight dissadvantage, but I was hopping there could be some more mods I can do to get the Expy to roll.

I have explored a chip, rear-end gear, etc, etc. I am not ready for a supercharcher or anything like that. I really don't want to go that far with it. I just want something that is going to give me a whole lot better off the line, driveability and better towing performance.

I am hopping a rear-end gear and a chip will be the answer, as I am ready tp invest in those mods. What do ya'll think? Please let me know. Thanks...

I am happy with the mods that have been done on my Expedition. But I wanted more mid to high rpm power the low end was fine for me.
Gears would be the cheapest if all you want is more low end and Know the down side is gas mileage and top speed

I have 4.10's and a Magnacharger. I did the gears slightly over a year ago and the blower recently.

The 4.10's made a big difference in around town power since they help get the engine into the power more quickly. They also make the truck much happier on the highway with less downshifting. The towing performance was way better. Money well spent!

The blower adds a lot of power for a lot of money. Start with the gears.
