Has anyone put speakers in back area

I need some speakers in the third row area. I have the rear air conditioner back there and have a mtx sub on it's way. Is there any room where the air conditioner is. I was thinking of putting some 4" speakers. My daughter always tells me to turn up the music when she's back there and it loud for everyone else. Any suggestions?

Lou

Where did you find those speaker enclosures?
Do you have them in your ride?

They are custom made, I had molded a set and then sold them with the rest of my entire system for quite a few $. I forgot the site I first saw them quite some time ago but saved the pics. I shoud have the New Clarion VRX925VD HU Friday or Monday should be released, rest of the other 02 goodies.

Just finishing up on the outside mods, ATI ProCharger & mods, new bumper cover etc........Pics soon.

The pods are not hard to make, there are different ways to wipp up a set. The easy way to go about it is to use a PVC pipe, mold it to the panel, make some mounts, then wrap or paint it, whatever floats your boat. Silicone from the inside to keep it air tight. If you can't get the gun in there just put a hose on the end of the tube and squeeze. Depending on what size speaker you prefer to use will determine the size of PVC pipe etc...I used a component set and made a pod on the outside of my set. Hope you get the idea. Or you could just have your favorite local Mobile Electronics store wipp up a set in glass.

Yup. Use PVC pipe right from your local hardware store. 4" or
5" depending on your speaker size. I put a pair in the back
almost the same location, in the corner on the ceiling. and they make a huge sound improvement in the overall sound field of the truck, besides people in the thrd row can now hear music besides
the subwoofer.
