I just bought a black 2001 "No Boundries" Expedition.It has gray cloth seats in it.I don't like the way they feal or look.They feel rough and look coarse! Are all 2001 seats like this or is it a NO Boundries thing?

I' m glad this is my Wifes Expedition.I think I will just stick with my Lightning. I Know where to get help with it when I need it!

 

Maybe, just maybe nobody responded to your post, because you joined for the purpose of complaining. Besides from your first post, it's apparent you are, how shall I say, not on top of things. You would have thought that a person buying a vehicle would at least wonder around the dealership looking. Or at the very least look in a brochure. Buy Car and Driver, watch speed vision, anything would ya!!!! I'm done. Remember you can catch more flys with honey than vinegar.

 

Sometimes it takes a few days to get a response, other times no one with the answer has seen your post for various reasons, still other times you will get NO response. No reason to trash the board. I have had many posts answered quickly and some not answered or replied to at all . . .so far you are 0 for 1 unless you count your own response.

 

I joined about a year ago!And it wasn't to complain!I just bought this thing with minor damage and will have less than $15,000 in it!
The reason I was asking about the seat was because there was a complete set of factory seat covers on ebay,but I didn't want to buy what I already had!
Car and Driver sucks! If it is not a Ford and fast I really don' t care to read about it!
So Mr. MHCMGIL Go back and read my first post and ask yourself "was that question to hard for me to answer"I don' t think it should be to hard for you since you read Car and Driver and wacth Speedvison.

Relax would ya. Almost everybody on the board wants to help, however you at least need to make the effort to help yourself first. My suggestion about reading car and driver was for you to help yourself first.

 

I wasn't tring to trash your board.I have been a member as long as you guy's if not longer.
MHMCGILL, I thought I was helping my self by asking the guy's that own and ride in them every day.I'm sorry if I thought this was a board to ask ??'s.I just don't think Car and Driver or speed vison is going to tell me if the seats in all new Expeditions are made with the same material. You pretty much acted like I was a dumbass for buying it if I had a problem with the seats!
I am Lightning guy and I call NLOC home!I'am used to getting responce's pretty quick!Right or wrong someone is going to try to help !

 

So have you all put your heads together and come up with a answer for my Question .
I think you like people like me to come over here and give you some excitement!Instead of the same oh "look at my wheels" posts.

IMHO you sound pretty damned obnoxious. My general rule for anything I do over the internet, whether instant messenger or message boards, is to never assume anything or jump to conclusions about anyone. And yet you want to jump to the conclusion that people are ignoring your posts. Maybe it got lost in the mix or nobody knew the answer. PErhaps if you had not been so obnoxious about reposting your question and just a tiny bit more patient you'd be seeing answers to your question now rather than admonitions that you need to relax.

Also, who pays for a vehicle without knowing for sure they'll enjoy sitting in it?

 

When you buy a wrecked vehicle for such a low price as jselman wrote earlier you don't get to pick and choose your options. A good deal on a vehicle these days is hard to come by. I know jselman personally and he is usually not an a$$. On other sections of this message board and over at NLOC he has been quite helpfull. He is asking a question to the Expedition experts. I am sure someone has an answer for him. By the way the closest Ford dealer to us is 50 miles away and their selection is not that good.

 

Guy's I've just been playing around with you. I found out the answer to my question 30 minutes after I asked It.I just went to Ford.com.
I just thought it was odd when I checked the next day that no one had left a reply,Then another day and a half still no replies to a simple yes or no question .Then my 2nd post was to see if I could get any kind of response at all.But when MHMCGILL said what he said that just fueled me on!
It just seems that you can get more replies on a POS post like this than when someone needs help.

Sorry, I have never been in a 2001. Maybe they will soften up with a little time.

 

Even though I read your post, I did not know the answer.
And, I wasn't even aware that a post indicating that, was required...I must have skipped that section when reading the "conduct and privacy statement" for the website.

So, forgive me for not posting that I did read your original post, but had no answer !
