Adding a bit of Cow hide 2 my ride

I just so happen 2 be one of the people who did not get an Epxo with the Eddie Bauer package or the leather. ( I know, I know)

Yet the price was just right! (In LA things cost more than they should at times)

So now I'm contemplating on adding that good ol' leather 2 my expo.
Has anyone done this, and if so what steps, and measures did you take?

I just did the Katzkin kit in my ride, real moo cow. Install took me about 3 hours not rushing. Got it from Roger at the F150online store.

Question

Silver X - were they just slip on covers, or did you have to remove the cloth? 3 hours isn't bad.

Good question, also what was the cost? Would it be better than getting whole new seats? What about adding some NAVI seats? Has anyone done this???

You remove the factory cloth and install the leather. E-mail Roger for pricing. I'm sure Nav seats are quite a bit more and the Katzkin leather I like better then any of the factory leather. Super high dollar vehicles is another story.

Question

So was that 3 hours for all seat rows or just the front buckets? Man, your were rocking to do them all in 3 hours I would think. Can you post a pic when you get time ?

Yes, all 3 rows, except that I already had experience taking the covers off, but it's not really any big deal on the factory one, they wip right off. The Katzkins are what take time. You can strip the factory cover of in minutes but puting the leather on............Plus I learned some tricks from the pro's. But all in all, it's not so bad. Plus I ordered mine without the arm rests bec I have the 2000 console so I shaved off the arms and had Katzkin make it smooth.

You might also check out rouschperf.com, they sell the leather covers for the seats, at a fairly good price.
