Side View Mirrors

Anyone have any trouble with thier side view mirrors shaking while driving down the freeway? Any ideas on how to stop this?

Thanks in advance,

Unhappy Same here...

I've got the same problem with my Expy. I'm thinking about replacing them with a aftermarket or upgrade them to them OEM's with the incorporated turn signal.

At this point, I don't have any ideas how to stabilize the mirrors. I'll keep looking...

Me too. I had mine replaced under warrenty a while back. The dealer managed to break the mirror so they ordered a new one. Looks like gumby painted it. Oh yeah it still shakes although not as bad. I also had the rear view mirror replaced. It still shakes. Bad mounting system. BTW I also had our '97 Expys mirror fixed too. They said that they tightened it up.. Make sure your tires have been recently balanced also. The dealer is reluctant to fix the mirrors until I told him that looking in the mirror was like watching archive footage from camera mounted on a P-51 during WWII.

I had my mirrors replaced from the signal mirrors to the heated mirrors. (After cracked look appeared - like an antique mirror) Now the passenger mirror shakes on the highway.
