I installed a Superchip about two years ago. I notice the power and the nice firm shifting from the tranny. I have also a Airaid intake and a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler which complement the chip. As far as mpg, It all depends how your foot. It is easy to install, and with some cleaning of the board connector which was the most important, slide it in and reconnect the battery and enjoy.

Superchips! Without a doubt. The other things are great but the chip is the biggest bang for the buck.

Check with Mike in the Computer Chips forum. He sells both Superchips and Diablo for a comparison. I bought mine from him as well just over a year ago.

Thumbs up Same here...

Superchips! Superchips! Superchips! What a great product.

There's even a forum here for them, and as FamilyRide stated, Mike has been a great help to us all.

Another thumbs up on the Superchip. Put mine in last summer, works great, pretty decent performance improvement with no loss of MPG. Gets rid of the mushy feel of the tranny too.

I would agree with everyone else. I put the Superchip in several months ago. I also have the airbox modification with a K&N and a Gibson SS Catback Exhaust. I really did not notice any "seat of the pants" performance improvement, but I did notice a MUCH smoother transmission shift pattern. It will require the use of 92 octane gas. I feel it was worth the $235. I tow a 21-foot Mastercraft Ski Boat with my Expy and it has really helped out when towing up hills. The next best modification (in my opinion) was the Gibson exhaust.

Have fun.
