Question Remove ashray/cupholder

Is there a way to pull out the whole ashtray/cup holder tray? I've had a Micky'D's papper cup seem through overnight now the whole thing is sticky. I've tried to pull it out, and looked for someclips that may hold it in, but have not figured out how to remove it.

Thanks for any help
Bryan

Yes, it does come out.
I had mine out the otherday, but it was a BurgerKing cup in my case.
There are 2 clips, and the twist-lock light.
They are spring clips on the left and right.
I will take mine out tomorrow and reply back with exactly where the clips are.

Bryan:
Here you go.
Pull the cupholder out as far as it will go.
Reach up underneath it.
You will feel the rails on the left, and on the right.
Just inside the left and right rails, there is a plastic clip on each side that is an angled retention clip.
It holds the cupholders in (keeps them from coming all the way out) by hitting the backside of the dash on the top side of the cupholder knockout in the dash.
To get it out. you have to gently pull down on each one of them (you can do the left, then the right) just enough to get them past the dash.
After you take it out and wash it out in the kitchen sink, dry it out real well, then take it back outside, line up the rails, then push it in.
Pull the tray back out till it stops and hook the twist lock light back up.

The clips really are there, you just have to feel around a little.
