Greets -

I just purchased a 2000 4x4 Green Expedition with the 5.4 Liter V-8. Im beginning to look at mods for the vehicle and am looking for advice. My first mods will be headers and dual exhausts, followed by lifting and tires, shocks etc. And finally an audio visual package. Can anyone give me the best products to use for this on this vehicle. I just switched from a 2001 F-250 Super Duty 7.3 Liter Power Stroke Diesle 4x4 Off Road.

Thanks

Well the "the best" products ? I feel that it's all relative to your budget and your taste. I have a 98 Expedition and so far I've done the following...

Performance Mods:

Flowmaster 40 Series with dual side slash exits
K&N Air Filter

Soon:

18 INch Enkei RT6 Rims w/ Nice thick tires ( 20" don't really ride that well IMHO)

Music:

Pioneer Premier In- Dash Cassette / Cd Changer Combo
PPI 4 Channel Amplifier
Pioneer 2 Channel Amplifier
PPI EQP
PPI 12 Inch Subwoofers
Q-Logic Sealed Box
Monster Cable both Audio Cables and Speaker Wire
Monster Cable Power Distribution Block and Power Splitter

Video:

Blaupunkt DVD/MP3/VCD/CD Player
3 Audiovox monitors, Center Console , and Both Headrests

Soon:

Add Playstation2 with Large monitor (13" and above) for rear Section of Vehicle,
Add in-dash Video Unit

Other:
Limo Tint on Rear half and 40% on front
Front Clear Corners
SuperWhite Headlights

Soon:
Rear Tail Lights, Altezza Carbon Fiber (expensive!)
Front Waffel/Baffel Style Grille

Secuirty:
Clifford Alarm W/ Glass breakage sensor, Horn Honk Light Flash, Tilt Sensor (in case of towing), Extra sensivite but not annoying
Clifford Intellistart remote start system

I also hope to get into competion in the near future, so some of my ideas are going to be a bit unorthadox (or just a bit crazy 4 a daily ride)

That's my Expedition in a nut shell,
Good luck and keep us informed/ posted...
