I would like to remove the badges from the X but am not too sure what to do with the hole that will be left behind. I know there is a hole behind the ones on the fender. Is there a hole on the "Expedetion" and "Ford" badge on the gate? Short of taking it to the body shop to fill and paint, I thought a side marker light might look good on the fenders, but not too sure about the gate. What have others done?

 

There are holes in all four emblems (fenders, and both gate emblems). You have to weld them up and then re-paint each pannel. I did it to mine, but it was a TON of trouble. Hope that helps
