Where can I find info on swapping a 02 Navigator 5.4L DOHC into a 02 Expedition with a 5.4l SOHC?

 

it'll bolt right in


now the tune and imrc will need some assistance but the throttle and cruise cables also have to be swappes, while it sounds cool, it's not a swap for any practicality IF you're truing to save money

 

yeah I went to the wreakers and tried to pull out a Navi engine. It was an absolute pain in the **** and it was too tall in these trucks. I could not get the intake off properly. If you look at most u-tube videos on how to replace the EGR, you see they skip a big chunk on how to remove the intake due to space. because the Navi was in the junk yard I actually cut a huge section out of the windshield to access the 3 rear bolts for the upper intake. At that point I figured that was just a waste of time to do the swap.
