Lowering Navigator

Please Help...

I have a '98 Lincoln Navigator 4X4, and just replaced the rims and tires / 20" Lightning with 285-45 Good Year Eagle GT II's, now too much gap is showing. What can I do lower it?

I know we have a air-suspension and adjusting the front sensor dosn't do much. Also the torsion bar adjustment bolt is already way out ( do you have to tighten it or loosen it?)

Thanks...Joe

lowering Navi

I also have a 98' Navigator that I have lowered by just cranking down the torsion bar and adjusting the sensor for the LLS. I also adjusted the rear all the way down. This got me about 2 to 2 1/2" all around. I'm still looking to get about another inch for the front. I have Toyo Proxes ST 285X60X17 tires on all 4 corners.

You can contact Pat at Ballistic Motorsports (949)472-3834. I've spoke to him and he has a modified crossmember for the torsion bars that will allow a lot more adjustment without having to loosen the torsion bars so much. He seems pretty knowledgeable and they have done this before. Let me know what he says as I haven't had the chance to take the next step.

Thanks for the info...
I've emailed Pat and got some quick replies, the unit will allow up to 3 inches drop. The cost is very reasonable, I'll get one and post some before and after pics by next week or so.
