Brake caliper installation on an 01 f150 screw

So I went down to the local pick and pull and got myself calipers off of an 97-02 Expedition. Looking to gain a little stopping power. The calipers are two piston vs the one piston calipers I currenlty have. I have came across some posts and read in my Haynes book about the anti-rattle clip. They were not in the calipers that I picked up. I also bought replacement slides and boots for the caliper bolts but there was no anti-rattle clip. Is this part necessary and where do I get it? The napa I went to did not have them. The new slides seem to retain the pads with a clip that wraps over the top of the "ear" of the pads.
