Got a puncture in a tire on the way hom the other day, started jacking up the right rear tire with the factory jack and the noises the jack were very concerning. It looked like the screw/threaded bar in the center was actually bending under the weight of the truck. I still needed to go up about 3 inches, the force to turn the screw was significant - I decided it was not safe so I called roadside as the truck is a 2012 and only has 7800 miles.

My question is has anyone used the jack to change a tire on an Expedition EL, and was it safe?
