I have a 1998 ford expedition xlt 5.4 my check engine light came on and said it was a bad ignition coil number 3. I changed that and the check engine light is still on saying bad igition coil number three. I am lost I unsure where to go next. Ant help is greatly appreciated.

 

What was the code, P0303? If so that is for a misfire on cylinder #3 and could be a plug also. I am assuming you only replaced the coil.

Also check the connector to be sure it is plugged all the way in.

Another thing could be a bad boot causing the misfire.
