I have a 2003 Expedition with a 4.6L (vin W) Romeo... It is blown up @ 60k miles. I can only find engines with over 150K selling at $1,900+. But 5.4L romeos at $800+ with less milage.


What engine swap options do I have for this 2003 expedition?
Can I swap for a 5.4L romeo?
Is a create motor from auto parts store a good option or not?

yes you can, and it's an easy swap IF you can follow the "how to" posted by JMC, not to mention your expy will yield a better driving experience...





you also need to figure out WTF just happened and why a motor with 60k miles blew
