A little over a month ago my 02 F250 decided to commit suicide and burn it interior which ended up totaling it. Turns out the seat heater wire chaffed and shorted out which started the drivers seat foam to smolder. The truck was sealed up well and put itself out, but not until the interior was done for. I finally settled with the insurance, but was saddled with the task of replacing my truck.
I didn't need a 3/4 ton anymore so a 1/2 ton was in order. I needed crew cab and 4x4 and it would be a Ford. I wanted to find a 00-03 supercrew. I searched online up to 100 miles away. I found quite a few, but they all had damage or high miles. I couldn't see spending $8000 plus on a supercrew with 160k or more. I came across a 2000 expedition Eddie Bauer on craigslist about an hour away. It was pretty nice and in my price range. I would loose a bed, but the supercrew bed isn't much of a bed anyway. I figure I can save some money on the expedition and buy a trailer for hauling stuff.
Anyways on the the Expedition. Its a 2000 Eddie Bauer edition with 110,xxx miles. Really clean, a few door dings, little rust underneath from road salt, and it has captains chairs in the second row. I think I am the 3rd owner, going to do a carfax at work. Other for a few cosmetic items and tires before winter its good to go. I'll get some pics and post them later. I plan on doing the gotts intake mod and maybe some e3 plugs. Eventually a muffler swap and maybe a tuner.
Any recommendations of stuff to do or stuff to get?

 

I performed the Gotts intake mod tonight and cleaned the MAF sensor. Seems to made a difference on the butt dyno.
