im about too put a 99 grand marquis 4.6 motor in a 00 expedition 5.4 and i want too what would i need from the grand marquis too do this?

 

Why would you stick a 2v 4.6 in place of the bigger 2v 5.4?

 

Right, -you can get a 5four anywhere. Lots out there.

The Marquis has a 4six car intake as well, = Less torque than say, -a 4six truck intake. Doesn't make sense to do a swap like that IMO, -even if you have the Marquis on the stand already. I believe the 99 Marquis is also a non-PI engine. The 99+ 5fours are PI. So that makes even less sense to swap.

 

did you actually do this swap 5.4 in my 99 expedition threw a rod I'm thinking of putting a 01 towncar 4.6 in it.
