Here is a front picture of an '02 Explorer

 

Does look like Explorer's "big brother". Like most redesigns we wonder what were they thinking but we get used to it and after a while we learn to love it.

 

Looks interesting. It would look good with the round fogs like the Explorer has.

 

Someone on the Expedition Owners Group Mailing List, put up this link. It is a "Detroit Spy Report" on some upcoming models.

There are many on there, including a 2002 Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, and an F-150, but the vehicles pictured are covered up quite a bit.

Any bets the '03 F150 will look the same? Afterall, they currently share front end sheet metal, bumper, and grill.

 

Looks interesting but one thing grabs me right away.... No chrome bumper
I like lots of chrome and we're getting less and less of it every year it seems.....

 

I'd rather have the "Thunder" come to life.

 

That is the ugliest vehicle that I have ever seen. Its practically an Exploder but a bit larger. The only thing I have to say is WHY? Tell me WHY did Ford have to mess up a very nice ride. I will never get one even if my life depended on it. We should all get together and file a lawsuit for what they have done.

 

I am about to attempt to change my '97 expedition bumper & grille
with the nes style bumper grille ('99).
Does anyone have any tips or advice. Will the '99 bumper /grille fit
onto existing '97 structure. Does anyone know of a discount souurce
for these parts.
