Neutral safety switch re-visited

Neutral safety switch re-visited
I have a 2000 ford expedition with the 20 bolt pan. I installed the new switch and now it starts in P but not in N. The switch and connector looked the same. The hash marks line up perfectly in neutral. Is there a chance I got a bad switch?
