where is thermometer for outside temp??

My Exp is equipped with the electronic thermostat which will display the outside temp. Where is this thermometer located??? It also has a black square(about 3"x3") located in the upper-right hand side of the winshield. This black square has a piece at the top center , about 1/8" in width, that extends up the rest of the windshield and into the headliner.....What is this???

My 97 has it twisted around the antenna. I havent seen the black square you are speaking of.

Seems that if its on your windshield it wouldnt be an accurate temperature reading.

When I pop my hood, there is a little black sensor in front of the radiator..... It looks just like the thermometer I had in my Durango and exactly the same as what they put in Hot Tubs.... I think that's it
