I just purchased a 2006 Expedition 2 wheel drive with 54000 miles. Part of the deal was for the dealer to flush the transmission (which they did) and repack the front wheel bearings. When i picked up the car, i was told it has "sealed" wheel bearings that don't get repacked. Is that the case? I've never heard of a 2 wheel drive vehicle having sealed front bearings.

its a sealed hub.

 

On my 03 Navigator the front wheel bearings seem to be able to last forever, you will go through 10 times more brake pads and rotors than you do wheel bearings.
