I have a 2000 Expedition XLT w/ 4.6L.

I am trying to locate the trailer brake controller wires and/or connector under the dash to connect my brake controller. So far, I have been unsuccessful locating the factory connector.

My Expedition does not have a factory tow package.

Does anyone know where this connector may be or which wires are the ones I need to follow or splice into? Is it likely that the wires don't go through the firewall from the fuse block and harness under the hood?

Any help will be appreciated.

 

To my knowledge if you dont have the factory tow package the brake controller wont be there.
