I know there have been numerous discusion on wheels and tires. I have a 98 Expy with the 16x7 wheels. I would like wider tires and to do it right, wider wheels ar obviously in order. I have read many places (tire/wheel sites) that do not recommend wheels wider than 8" for the Expys due to excess load on the wheel bearings and vibration problems.

I really like the lightning wheels, but they are 9"s. I know many of you have installed these and probably do not have a problem now. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
