I have an 02' navigator & there is a slight whine from the rear end sometimes and a clicking noise when you decelerate; this is not all the time and once the truck drives a few miles you cant hear it. I have 71,000 miles on it, & I'm thinking it's time to change the rear end fluid to solve this noise. Am I on the right track in my thinking?

 

sounds about right but then again it might be to late, u might have to swap out the rear end...also you sure its not a wheel Bering?
