On my 03 expedition the side mirrorors are supposed to move down when I put it in reverse and the move back up when it goes back in drive. Well now and for the last few months or so they seem to have a mind of their own. They will move down and not return or they will move up instead. Sometimes they won't move at all. Very annoying to have to reposition them every time we use it.
Anybody else have this problem? What did you do to solve this? I would just love to disconnect them some how so they won't move by themselves at all. Thanks

 

If you are still under warranty I would bring it to the dealership & have them try to fix it & possibly demand new mirrors. Before my warranty expired I had my defective signal mirrors replaced with heated mirrors. Good luck>
