wod dash kits
I have a 98 eb x'ped and would like to install a wood dash kit. I have seen dozens of internet sites selling them but can't find any local shops that sell them. Has anybody put one of these on there truck and where did you get it and how much? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
I've only seen the online sites, one of the better ones i saw was www.customdash.com , the molded wood seems nice, and they carry ford racing laether/wood steering wheels. I saw a couple pics online from some who had ordered from there and it seems great, just take your time and do it carefully. Try the yellow pages and call up some auto shops to find it locally.
I inquired of a couple of these companies that advertise their installers but much to my surprise, there were NO installers in the DFW area.
Looks like with some patience and time, you can do some of these kits yourself. Some are molded and I've seen some that are not. I think the molded kits would be much easier not to mention look better, of course you pay for it.......

Try www.exoticwooddash.com. They are located here in Arizona, but their porducts look awesome! Personally I would go for the molded dash, but that's mainly b/c here in the land of heat I would be afriad of the stick on wood grain/carbon fiber would come off. I just got my Stylin' Concepts Ford Pickup/SUV catalog in the other day and the have the molded dashes for $329.95! Not bad considering all the pieces you get! It comes in wood grain, carbon fiber, and Stainless! Hope this helps!
