Can't keep an alignment!

So about 2-3 weeks ago I dropped my 99 navi off at firstone to get 4 new tires put on. Firestone destination AT's $725 out the door for 4 tires, mounted, balanced life time alignment.

When I dropped the truck off you could see the passenger front tire was messed up. (bottom leaning out, top leaning in) When I picked it up all was well, by the time I got home (3 miles) is was ****ed again. Next day bring it back, wait another 2 hours and I get it back. this time steering wheel is crooked and it pulls left. I was leaving for vacation so the truck was parked for 8 days.

I decided to bring it to a different Firestone this time. Lifetime alignment can be checked for free at any Firestone! These guys look at it and get it all into spec, seems to be OK now. But I asked both technicians at both firestone's if everything looked good and tight up front or do I need to replace some things to keep a good alignment. Both said everything looks tight!

Did I just get ****ty service? or
Are Navigators that hard to align?
What can I do to keep this beast aligned so I don't kill my tires prematurely?

DId you have a highschool tech working on the truck? It's very rare to find service where the tech takes pride in their work and takes time to do things right. My truck was at the dealer for over a month and when i go to pick it up i look under the hood and the whole top radiator cover/motor cover was missing. WTF? Didn't do great work either

Sounds like the 1st shop did not tighten the upper control arm to frame bolts tight enough when they adjusted camber/caster and it slipped,2nd shop may have not got it adjusted properly, take it back and have them make it right,
