Thumbs up

I think to match it's about a 35%. I may have mine done this year. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee done and to match the backs it was a 35%. This looks about the same. I haven't done mine yet because I'm not crazy about the look on my color. But man I'm ready for some relief from this dadgum heat!

Are they just Grey in color? or are they Bronze reflective?

I just had mine done. And to match the OEM Bronze reflective I had to double layer the tint, One layer for the Bronze color and one layer in front of that called Solar Reflect. Both products by 3M.

I just had the 2 front windows done $50.00. They really match quite well.

I own a mobile tint shop. The best match is 15%. 97 and 98 Expeditions use a reflective type of tint on the back. This is done at the factory with smoked glass, it is not film. Johson Window Films Silohouette is what I use. It matches perfectly. If you put 5% on the front two, you must put 15% on the back windows to match it up. Other companys also carry the same film, it is called high performance film. It is made with sputtered metal. The film that turn purple iss dyed only and windex with ammonia also causes tint to turn purple. I hope this helps

Do a search on the internet. There's a listing as to what's legal state by state. I see you're in Tampa. They just announced here in Palm Beach County that they're rigidly enforcing tint codes. Great way to have a reason to do a traffic stop. Portion of FHP also carry light meters. Did my fronts and tint bar on windshield. Big difference. Have fun.
